Demo of the ‘53 Hammond organ. I hooked it up to my lame little rotary speaker, but it still sounds pretty good. Cant wait till it’s hooked up to the real Leslie. I’m rusty as shit on the keys, haven’t played very much in months.
Anyway here’s some random jazz, and a little Pink Floyd, Beatles, Toto, Supertramp, Doors, etc… to demonstrate how damn awesome it sounds. I love it.
Yet another prog-rock machine. A 1953 Hammond M2, free this time. Saw it sitting in the trash pile behind a Goodwill and rescued it. The amp was missing it’s power cord and one tube. Fixed those and it fired right up and sounds AWESOME. I need to learn more ELP, Genesis and Yes organ parts..
I’ll post a video once I get it inside and hooked up to the Leslie speaker.
